Activities in São PauloSão Paulo Photo Gallery
Throughout the week, various excursions and cultural activities in São Paulo are offered so students can explore the true Brazilian culture and apply lessons taught in their Portuguese language courses. Just a few examples of the possible excursions while you study Portuguese in São Paulo include:
- Mercado Municipal – an iconic São Paulo market featuring a wide range of meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables, as well as restaurants
- Embu das Artes – an attractive city within metropolitan São Paulo that is home to many artists
- Museu do Ipiranga – one of the more famous museums in São Paulo. It is housed in a palace completed in 1895, containing many pieces relevant to the period known as “The Brazilian Empire”
- Rua 25 de Março – a commercial district in the heart of the city, where one can buy almost anything imaginable
With so much to see and do in São Paulo, there will be no shortage of activities to quickly fill your busy schedule. Please note that meals and transportation costs associated with the excursions are not included in the course tuition.
In addition to the available afternoon trips, our Portuguese language school offers regularly scheduled sports matches among students and staff.
