Arrival to Barcelona
Barcelona airport is the main airport of Catalonia. One of the advantages of Barcelona airport is that it is really close by the Barcelona city center, at just 14 km. It is specifically located at El Prat del Llobregat, the town that gives the name Aeroport del Prat. 1) There is an airport shuttle bus connecting El Prat with the city centre. It's a blue bus called Aerobus. It stops in front of the terminal and takes you to Plaça Catalunya (€ 5.90).
2) You can also take one of the many taxis that wait for passengers in front of the terminal. The taxi ride shouldn't cost you more than € 35.
Girona Airport is 103 km from Barcelona city centre or approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car. It is important to note that Girona Airport is not situated in the city of Girona. If you choose to take a train from Girona, it will first be necessary to get to Girona city centre via taxi or bus.
Anyway, from Girona Aiport to Barcelona city, a shuttle bus will take you to the bus station, Estación del Norte. From Arc de Triomf you can take a metro towards Hospital de Bellvitge and get off at Plaça Universidad, which is the 1 Station before plaça Catalunya.
Take a Train to Barcelona
Considered one of the most utilized transport hubs in the Spain, the Barcelona Sants Train Station is the primary train station for national and international arrivals and departures. Situated in the west of the city, it is easily reached by bus, taxi or the metro. It is well connected to public transportations and is easily accessible. By Boat to Barcelona

Transportation in Barcelona

The most common method. Faster than buses, it lets you get outside the city. If you buy a ticket for the tube, you can also use it for buses (€ 2.15 for a single ticket, € 9.95 a ten-trip ticket).
By Bike or Scooter
Bicycles are a large and important part of Barcelona's public transport system. There are three options: buy a bike, rent a bike for a day (from € 1.50 per hour) or using bicing system. This third option is mostly used by residents of Barcelona because it is intended as a public transport service for short bicycle journeys of maximum 30 minutes in duration. You can also rent a scooter and go for a ride.
