The most cosmopolitan Spanish city, it is also one of the favorite tourist destinations due to its infrastructures, weather and culture. Barcelona is the perfect place to relax, have fun and enjoy its unique way of life.

Famous for its ground art, Barcelona offers lots of beautiful places. The Ramblas, which is the city center which connects the Gothic quarter, the oldest part of Barcelona, to the Raval quarter; or the magnificent Sagrada Familia, the beautiful Park Güell and the Casa Batlló, all of Gaudi’s heritage in one of the most modern European cities.
Barcelona is also appreciated for its enigmatic streets, where you can find unusual locals and restaurants, away from the typical tourist areas, and also for Barceloneta beach, where people go every day to relax after work, thanks to the Mediterranean weather practically all year round. You can also get around the city and enjoy excellent beaches and places that deserve to be discovered (Costa Brava, Castelldefels, etc.).

Gastronomy is very important as well. Several times per month, there is the famous ‘tapas tour’: people walking along different areas of the city to taste pinchos and tapas, getting to know other people and having fun. In the activities suggested by our school, you can find the Fiesta de la Merced, the most spectacular of Catalonia's traditions, like Castellers (the raising of human castles) and Correfoc (people dressed as devils dancing and offering fireworks of spectators).
All this without forgetting the Camp Nou, the biggest football stadium in Europe. If you definitely choose Barcelona to learn Spanish, you will have chosen a city that offers you an unforgettable experience.
