Arrival to Granada
Granada airport is 12 km from the city centre. Once you have landed, you can get a taxi from the airport and avoid walking through the streets with your luggage. The taxi costs about 28 €. You can also choose Malaga airport, the nearest international airport to Granada. Buses to Granada run every one to two hours and it takes about 90 minutes to get from Málaga to Granada by road.
By Bus or Train
Another way of traveling is by bus or train from Madrid. You can choose to arrive to the capital of Spain and then, take one of the connections with Granada via train, bus or plane. You will need to go to 'Estación del Sur'. The buses leave every hour and it takes between 4 and 5 hours.

In most cases walking is the best method to get around Granada. The city is small but plenty of places to discover. Some of those places: Alhambra, Albaycín or Sacramonte are located on top of different hills.
