Ibiza’s airport, Aeroport d’Eivissa (IBZ), is located 7 kilometers (4 miles) from the capital, Ibiza Town. A number of European airlines offer direct flights to Ibiza from Spain, England and other major European cities, including Air Lingus, Iberia, Air Berlin, Ryanair, EasyJet and British Airways.
You can get into the city center from the airport via public transportation using the Ibiza Airport Shuttle, taking a taxi (about €15 to Ibiza Town or €25 to San Antonio) or renting your own car.
A more romantic form of arriving to Ibiza is by boat. Boats are available all year round from Barcelona and Valencia, and during the summer you can take a boat from Alicante. Iscomar is the main ferry company that runs services to the island from various Spanish cities.
